Full Day 4x4 Driving Course
A full-day of 4x4 driving tuition at the Forest Experience allows you to tackle the more difficult terrain of our complex. We offer practical tuition in the general control of a 4x4 vehicle in varying situations and ground conditions in our authentic 900-acre Welsh forest.
Available for group bookings of 3 or more only.

The full-day course of 4x4 driving proceeds as follows:

9.45am
Participants to arrive at Cambrian House for signing on. Meet your instructor and have a short briefing on use and operation of a 4x4 vehicle. -
10.15am
Depart for forest and commence familiarisation runs on forest tracks. Then taking turns driving with instructor on nursery course. -
12.45pm
Lunch break. -
1.30pm
Resume driving to include more difficult terrain. -
2.30pm
You'll drive the same course in reverse direction making your own decisions on gears selection and at what speed to tackle hazards. -
4.00pm
You'll then watch a brief demonstration before taking on some basic vehicle recovery skills. -
4.45pm
Return to Cambrian House to receive your certificate and depart the Forest Experience.
